Meet Sandeep Singh Madan
Currently based in Germany, Sandeep Singh Madan draws poetry from places people often struggle to name. He brings together personal reflection, spiritual inquiry, family memory, migration, nature, and emotional honesty in his debut collection, A Quiet Place Inside Me.
His path to poetry has been shaped by curiosity as much as experience. Away from the page, Sandeep enjoys football, guitar, cybersecurity, cooking, and moments outdoors that often spark new ideas. Those varied interests reveal a mind drawn to both structure and feeling, logic and imagination. Poetry gives him room to explore the space between them.
Faith also holds an important place in his work. During uncertain periods, writing became a way to examine pain, affection, doubt, hope, and the search for meaning without forcing easy answers. His poems often return to familiar images such as rain, flowers, oceans, letters, stars, and city streets, allowing ordinary scenes to carry deeper emotional weight.
One of his poems, “The Pillow Holds His Whisper,” appeared in Wax Poetry and Art and was later featured in Indian Poetry Magazine and Comet #8 Edition. A Quiet Place Inside Me marks his first published collection.
Sandeep writes for readers who have loved deeply, questioned silently, carried private burdens, or searched for calm amid change. His work does not ask anyone to have life figured out. It simply creates space for reflection, recognition, and the possibility that even difficult seasons can leave something meaningful behind. For him, each poem begins where explanation stops, and honest feeling takes over.
